Catherine M. & Dan R. Dalton Endowed Scholarship

This endowed scholarship is established by Catherine M. and Dan R. Dalton. The Catherine M. and Dan R. Dalton Scholarship shall be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate pre-licensure student in the Xavier University College of Nursing who intends to pursue a career in geriatric or long-term care nursing. The Jesuit value of cura personalis, care for the whole person, will guide this individual as they should be appraised to be caring, compassionate, kind and thoughtful. Scholarship recipients should demonstrate excellent academic merits by maintaining a 3 .0 GPA throughout their course of study at Xavier.
Student recipient(s) shall be an upperclassman or open to any continuing nursing student who has completed their adult medical surgery course. Final selection recommendations will be made by the Dean of the College of Nursing in consultation with the Office of Enrollment
Management.
