The Jim Boothe Endowed Scholarship for Educational Leadership

J. Kevin, Christopher and Lisa Boothe established the Jim Boothe Endowed Scholarship for Educational Leadership at Xavier University in honor of their father Dr. James Boothe, Xavier University Alumnus, and retired Associate Professor and Department Chair, School of Education. This endowed fund will provide an annual scholarship award to a graduate student working toward his/her degree or certification for principalship, superintendent or doctoral work in education leadership. The recipient will be selected based on demonstrated financial need and strong academic merit by a committee of three individuals: (1) Chair, Department of Education Leadership, School of Education, (2) faculty member School of Education, (3) representative of the Boothe family. Final selection of the recipient(s) of this scholarship shall be within the discretion of Xavier University.
