Richard T. Deters, S.J., Memorial Scholarship

This fund was created by Father Deters’ fellow Jesuits following his death in 1997. Father Deters served Xavier University for almost fifty years in a variety of roles including dean of what was formerly known as Xavier’s Evening College, the predecessor of today’s CAPS program: The Center for Adult and Part-Time Students. When he died, Father Deters was a member of the Faber Jesuit Community. Awarded to a non-traditional student with need from the greater Cincinnati area. Legacy Scholarship list.
