Revs. Michael Lavelle, S.J., and James E. Hoff, S.J., Scholarship

Fund Information: This scholarship was created by executives of The Superlative Group, a sports marketing firm in Cleveland, Ohio. It honors two former Jesuit University presidents, Father Michael Lavelle, S.J. and James E. Hoff, S.J. Father Lavelle served John Carroll University as president for many years and was a member of Xavier University’s board of trustees. He died in 1995. Father Hoff served as Xavier’s president from 1991 to 2000 and then as the University’s chancellor until his death in 2004. Letters of appreciation should be sent to Mr. Myles C.
