Thomas and Patricia O'Donnell Scholarship

Created by the O’Donnells in appreciation of Xavier’s value-centered education. Mr. O’Donnell, a Chicagoan, graduated from Xavier in 1953 and spent many years with the Chicago Tribune. He retired in 1996 as publisher of the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel. A former member of Xavier’s Board of Trustees, he passed away in 2009. Awarded to four or more students with financial need with preference given to US citizens from Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Florida, Ohio or Kentucky. Legacy Scholarship list.
