Dr. Joseph F. Link Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Created by family, friends and former students of Dr. Link, who died on January 1, 2003. It assists students with financial need, preferably an economics major. Dr. Link received his bachelor’s degree from Xavier in 1953 and taught economics for 32 years. In the 1980s he donated his residence and property at the corner of Victory Pkwy and Ledgewood Avenue to the University. He lived there until his death, at which time it became the Brueggeman Center for Religious Studies, later simply called the House of Dialogue. His wife, the late Margo Schott Link, was a key donor to the construction of Xavier’s Schott Hall. Legacy Scholarship list.
