Walter J. and Florence T. Gernhardt Scholarship

This fund was created by Dennis and Jeanne Gernhardt to thank and honor Dennis’ parents for the importance they placed on Catholic education. Dennis and Jeanne intend to have this scholarship benefit students from Bishop Chatard, Indianapolis Cathedral, or other Indianapolis area high schools. Dennis graduated from Bishop Chatard High School in 1968 and from Xavier University in 1972.
