Joe Viviano Family Endowed Scholarship

Established by Joseph Viviano, 1959 graduate of Xavier and member of the 1958 NIT Championship basketball team. He was on the Board of Trustees for Xavier and retired as president of the Hershey Co. This fund is in honor of his father, who died in 2002. Awarded to a first-year men’s basketball student-athlete who has the academic skills to successfully graduate from Xavier University in four years and the basketball skills to make a strong contribution to the ongoing success of the program and/or Graduate Assistant. Renewable for his four years then a new receipient is named.
