Bolger and Selzer Families Scholarship

This fund was created by Mrs. Mary Selzer and honors the many members of her family and her late husband’s family who attended Xavier. Mrs. Selzer’s brother, the late James Bolger, graduated from Xavier in 1929. Two of his sons also are Xavier graduates. Her husband, the late Lawrence Selzer, graduated in 1931. His brothers, George and Paul also graduated from Xavier. Many of their children received Xavier degrees, as did several Bolger and Selzer grandchildren. Scholarships should be awarded to African American or Hispanic students with financial need. Legacy Scholarship list.
