Ann and Mary Summers Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Ann M. Summers and Mary Summers devoted their lives to a strong commitment of service to their community. Therefore, the purpose of this scholarship is to establish a benefaction to assist people who have reflected a strong volunteer spirit and who have chosen nursing/medicine as their major field of study at the university. The selection of students for this scholarship is to be confined to those who reside in the State of Kentucky, in the counties of Boone, Campbell, and Kenton. Students will live out the spirit of volunteerism with an outstanding record of service activity. Students must have selected nursing/medicine as their declared major. Secondary criteria for awarding the scholarship includes academic achievement, character, qualities of leadership, and financial need.
