Charles and Susanna Kelly Family Scholarship

This fund was created by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kelly to assist qualified Xavier students. Charles is a 1962 graduate of Xavier and a prominent lawyer in the Cincinnati area. He was a founding member of the National Alumni Board, having served as the board’s first president, and is a current member of the board’s executive committee. Charles was the first National Alumni Board President to serve as a member of the Xavier Board of Trustees. He has also been involved with the All for One Club, the Musketeer Club and is a supporter of Xavier Athletics. He was also one of the founding members of the All for One Fund with Coach and Athletic Director Bob Staak in the early 1980’s. Several of Charles’ family members are also Xavier graduates, further establishing the family’s legacy at the university. Awarded to a full-time student with a 3.5 GPA with an SAT score of 560 in Verbal and 550 in Math and an ACT score of 24 with preference given to a sophomore philosophy major. Legacy Scholarship list.
