Charles J. Connolly Memorial Athletic Scholarship

This scholarship honors the memory of Charles J. Connolly of the Class of 1929. It was funded through a bequest from the estate of his wife, Ruth. Mr. Connolly died in 1976 and Mrs. Connolly died in 1999. Mr. Connolly was an excellent athlete and a member of Xavier’s varsity football team in the 1920’s. The scholarship benefits a Xavier student-athlete with financial need.
